With a focus on the USA/Canada market, the dating app will have all of the main features of current popular dating apps such as Okcupid, Match, and Plentyoffish. For example, login, create a profile (photos and descriptions), browse profiles (locally and filtered match results), Ideal match filters, behavioural algorithm, conversations between users, add to favourites, match-making game, various 3rd party plugins such as Ziggeo, Foursquare, Aviary, Mapbox, and lastly featured upgrades(payment) from the Apple/GPlay store. Please download one of these apps to get a better understanding of the features and functionality.

*Api will be provided.
*Since most of the design is complete, minimal design is required.
*Experience with Phonegap/Cordova is necessary for building a cross-platform app.
*Experience with IOS/Android App guidelines and App approval process a MUST.
*We are only accepting quotes from experienced app developers that can provide a sample portfolio, with at least a 4 star rating and at least some moderate income earned.

Here are some additional details regarding the project :

1.) The project deals only with presentation of the information that’ll be served via a RESTful interface. The entire business logic resides in the backend that is near ready. Thus, the developer need not bother about the behavioral or any other algorithm. There would be no offline processing. Some experience with OSM and leaflet.js would be essential.

2.) We would prefer PhoneGap/Cordova app. However, we’re still open to reasonable quotes for native builds.

3.) During the course of development, we would prefer if there’s a regular real-time communication over Skype. This’ll help clarification of any doubts that the dev might have as well as help us keep a tab on the project progress. In your replies, please state the timezone and the Skype user-id.

4.) Currently, JIRA is used for issue/bug management.

5.) All the project related files would be kept under revision control (git). Proficiency in git is essential.

6.) How do you plan to development as well as payment ? Would it be in terms of milestones ? Please describe briefly.

7.) Do you have any prior experience in dating/matrimony application ? Please provide relevant links.
