A search engine for 8958 places around the world. Ability to select from 24 criteria for these locations to find the perfect location for the individual. Ability to save these locations to favorites and a bucket check list of sorts as well as to select if that bucket list has been achieved or not. Users prompted to set up a profile with their personal criteria. Users select from the location criteria and can "lock" certain criteria they want fixed for every search within current session (similar to how Urban Spoon had done it). More info can be found about these locations via a custom Google search component within the app for more websites about this location, pictures of this location or videos of this location, as well as directions/maps to locations as available. Log in via Facebook/Twitter to save certain locations or add them to bucket lists. Ability to use current location to look for certain nearby locations at a given radius level. Ability to leave private notes on a location or public comments about a location (similar to Foursquare tips). All "levels" of location data should be able to be stored/accessed on users phone for wider access. iPhone platform will be used initially for this project with the hopes to expand to iPad/Android pending budget. In app purchases available to upgrade from basic location level search at first to full 8,000+ location search access. Ideally distribute internationally and perhaps translate apps in key countries in the future. Future wish lists for app also indicated in full proposal RFP upon appfutura/developer signing NDA Ideal budget range would be $2,500-$5,000, however I put $5,000-$10,000 as their may be an opportunity to raise funds for incremental features for wish list items, depending on the incremental cost. I requested full app developer support for development/design, but other than integrating SDK's, I can handle the marketing. I'm open to working with individuals/companies internationally but it would be ideal if part of the company/1 representative was from the U.S. ideally more locally in California although that isn't a requirement just preference. I'm usually pretty busy working my 9am-7pm day job Mon-Fri, so e-mail is the best method of communication and/or scheduled phone calls. Thanks!
