Mobile app project description

We are an NJ, USA based company developing IoT solutions. Our products are primarily used for mobile asset tracking. Our application is developed on .NET framework. Front end is developed using a theme and Kendo UI, SQL Server, GPS mapping application (maps fro Mapbox) and reporting from Telerik. Communication with our hardware is done over TCP/IP using multi-threaded socket program.

Though application is functional, we know there is room for improvement. We have been thinking about separating front end from back end, use a toll such as Redshift for reporting/dash boarding (display the output in our application) and improve socket program which can support MQTT as well. Clean UI and better UX is important as well.
