Virtual assistants

What do you think about virtual assistants such as Cortana, Siri or Google Now? Is it the idea of control a device by using your voice clever or is it just a fashion that will quickly pass? Can you name some pros and cons of virtual assistants?

Digital assistants' idea is that software recognizes voice and act according to your voice commands. The best-known are Siri, Google Now and Cortena. They are basically very similar but each of them has also features that differs them from others.
