Twitter abandons Periscope?

The future of Periscope is not clear as Twitter now allows to lifestream without using this app (source: http://venturebeat.com/2016/12/14/twitt ... periscope/). The biggest social communication apps seem to get all-in-one. What do you think of this trend?

I'm starting to think that only 4 people in this world are real innovators. The rest (even big companies) just follow the flow and do what others do. I'm getting a little bit tired of this, we've got different social media networks but in the end, all do the same and people publish the same things in all of them.
