We have seen multiple new advancements on the 5G network, for example, Qualcomm has presented a prototype of a 5G mobile phone. Vodafone has shown a moving van in real time around Barcelona connected to 5G antennas around the city. Other innovations, which have been potentially expanded throughout the whole Mobile World Congress 2019 area are foldable phones. We have counted at least five different companies like Huawei, Samsung, TCL, Alcatel, or to the surprise of more than one Energizer; yes the alkaline batteries manufacturer. To sum up, we can consider MWC19: A journey between 5G, Smart Homes and Foldable Smartphones.

Mobile World Congress 2019, hasn't only been about foldable phones, 5G network appliances and also about new Smart Homes opportunities. At MWC19: App Developers and Marketing Agencies at Mobile World Congress have also been quite important. At Hall 8.1, the Digital Planet area, we saw some of the most impressive new technologies for digital companies, like app developers and marketing agencies.
Once the Congress finishes, with 109,000 attendees as official numbers point out, is not only what we have seen. At Mobile World Congress we checked MWC19: Journalists speak up during the Mobile World Congress edition. Their opinion was important as they are the main eyes and mouth around the event to explain what we have seen during four intense days in Barcelona.
Despite having thousands of already established Virtual Reality experiences around the globe and for some years now, at the event, we have seen some updates on this technology. The new options on VR have been quite impressive as they have been improving movement speed. So once the Mobile World Congress has been over, and we have checked VR advancements, could we consider MWC19: A starter for the real Ready Player One scenario?

Feel free to leave your opinion and what have you most enjoyed at this year's mobile congress.
