When you send messages via an app, you think that it is safe and nobody can read them. However, many messaging apps can be easily hacked or don't have many security features. There are however at least 3 apps which support end-to-end encryption: WhatsApp, Google Allo and Signal. Using this standard means that even asked by the government, these apps are unable to show the content of your messages because it is encrypted and only users have the key. Do you know any other apps with such a high level of protection?
If you are interested in comparison of these three apps, read the article here: http://mashable.com/2016/06/28/whatsapp ... HXUyRDPEqA

Apparently Facebook Messenger felt the pressure from its competitors because it started to test its own end-to-end-encryption feature (source: http://venturebeat.com/2016/07/08/faceb ... chat-mode/). The idea is to provide special "secret" chat areas which may be used for discussing sensitive topics. The encryption model will be end-to-end so only writer and recipient will be able to read the message. What do you think about this service? Is it a huge change in Facebook's policy?
