Very comprehensive article, thank you!
I especially liked the specific things that you should include in your NDA - very detailed.
I also like the part about "Busiest Ones Aren't The Best Ones Too" - true, as if a company has got too many projects, they may lost a personal view on every each of them.

Thanks for sharing the link. The article is really informative. As you mentioned in the article, communication is really an essential factor to hire the right mobile app development company. If a company is genuinely interested in your business, it will provide you with the best piece of their knowledge, experience, and exposure to the market. They will keep you familiar with the challenges and future expectations related to your industry. In short, they will assist you in launching a more enticing and successful mobile app. On the other side, if you go with a company taking your ‘dream work’ as just another project, they might not give their 100%; they might not go an extra mile to deliver the best optimal mobility solutions with a futuristic approach.

As someone who is working with apps and site development, my tip would be to look for previous work of the company or individual, reviews are also great, but if someone is new, previous work is more important for me than that.
Read carefully Q&A and Terms, company may keep something in secret but in Terms it needs to stay or you can sue them for not providing value that you deal and that was expected.
