Looking for the best cross OS platform

Hi there, 
I am a total beginner looking to find the best cross OS platform to build apps and develop some of my ideas. I don’t know a great deal about programming so I’m ideally looking for a versatile platform that doesn’t necessary involve a great deal of coding but also doesn’t compromise with lack of customisation ability. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Really appreciate it..
