Yes, every iOS app user and developer is really excited to learn what next Apple is going to launch. Mostly WWD conferences introduce to new software updates and operation system updates but this time we are expecting some new reliable features to be included in Axios and Bloomberg. Also, to keep up “Siri spirit” some optimizations are being carried out to make Siri smarter.

Expectations with WWDC 2018 are indeed quite high. The recent pitfalls with iOS 11 security and battery replacement issues, and the dearth of any major updates in tvOS, macOS, watchOS, and the iPad Pro hardware has given birth to a lot of rumours many of which sound promising. Here are some of the announcements that iOS developers and all the other Apple enthusiasts are expecting from this years' conference, of course except the iOS 12.
- Smarter Siri
- Release of AirPower charging pad
- Major development in the area of AR/VR and mixed reality
- Updates with iCloud
Other than these 4 most probable announcements, we are also expecting improvements with WatchOS, tvOS, HomePode, iPad Pro, and Apple Music. The former four are in due for updates for quite some time now, making them a probable source for the upcoming announcements. The speculations about the last one though have a completely different story. To know more about that refer to this post that explains how Apple Music is gradually becoming a long-term revenue saviour for the company.

  • Though all the features introduced in iOS 12 are impressive, I find Group Notifications, ARKit 2, and Privacy Measures as the key highlights.

The  WWDC 2018 will be outstanding for a couple of reasons:

One, it is the tenth commemoration of the application store. This commenced in July 2008, a year after the iPhone was launched. Since then, the application store has swelled to the excess of two million applications. A few engineers are seeking a superior payout from Apple. A new economy has come into existence from mobile programming. While the age of iPhone clients has become adults, admiring the application engineers, who hold them gazing down at their cell phones.

Secondly, that “gazing down at their cell phones” part will be critical to the current year’s occasion as apple will review the programming highlights. It is this programming excellence that offers clients more prominent control over their mobile usage, as indicated by a source comfortable with the organization’s designs. There have been reports that Apple has moved back a portion of its different intents. This is to upgrade its versatile programming this year. Then, there is the matter of Siri too. Apple says it is enhancing the conflicting assistant. It still has a great deal to demonstrate.
