Android has released even more information about how people use their devices, and it is very interesting the new information provided. 35% of users use the 4.4 version (KitKat), 17,1% the 5.1 (Lollipop) and only 1,2% use the 6.0 update (Marshmallow). 2.2 and 2.3 versions are still current in some devices. Though a Majority of Android Users still use the Kitkat version (35% as you have mentioned)
What do you think google will do to increase the share of its latest versions? Is it because Marshmallow update is not not available for a Majority of devices?

And here we can find a May update:
KitKats gets a 32.5% and Lollipop 2.2 a 19.4%
