Mobile Developer access to Google's speech recognition

on Android App Developers Forum at Wed Apr 19, 2017 3:52 pm

With the latest update of Google's Cloud Search API, all mobile app developers will now have the possibility to use the API for their software. This technology allows the developer to transform speech into text in over 80 languages with context-awareness features.

It will surely be an interesting tool for app developers if they the investment is worth it, as it is not free. Google charges costs depending on the usage: 0,36$/hour.

It's really great to hear, it opens so many new possibilities!
I have found an articles describing the topic more widely.

"Google has released an improved version of its speech software for its cloud customers, and is allowing them to use the software more widely. The software is used for tasks such as transcription and voice commands."
