YarMobile developed my app for Android. Full work. I was preparing graphics by myself.

Hide extended reviewWe were lacking a good IT system for our services. Poor communication with our drivers and customers. A few separate IT systems.
We wanted to develop a system consisting of both web and mobile applications to help us to communicate fluently with truck drivers, staff, and customers.
We wanted one smooth, smart platform to facilitate communication with all stakeholders. We started with telephone conversations to define the scope and create wireframes for the platform. YarMobile initially developed the Android mobile application that was specifically for our truck drivers. The application will be built for iOS in the future.
Our internal team worked alongside YarMobile; they worked almost 24/7 to complete the project quickly. They now maintain system updates and perform bug fixes. We will be developing it more in the future.

I am the IT Manager and lead developer of a UK-based online transcription company. I oversee our IT solutions and custom software.
Explain what your project was about.
Our clients send us voice recordings which we transcribe and send back to them. So far we were using third-party mobile apps to record and upload dictations. We wanted to have our own mobile apps for iOS and Android. We wanted to stop using third-party products and better promote our own brand. We also wanted a custom integration of the apps with our server-side infrastructure, which was not possible with the third-party apps.
Explain to what scope extend YarMobile was involved in your project.
YarMobile was hired to create a mobile application for iOS and Android. We provided them with initial specification and wireframes and they did the coding, testing and submitted the apps to respective app stores.
How did you get to meet the YarMobile team and what led you to hiring them?
We searched online for suitable companies. We narrowed our search to five based on their reputation, online reviews, and web content. We presented them with our specifications and asked for proposals. YarMobile presented the best proposal within our timeframe and budget. They were also willing to start right away.
How was their project management?
We were assigned a project manager to support us and act as our point of contact throughout the project. I only spoke with our project manager, but there were one iOS and one Android developer working behind the scenes. A graphic designer was also involved.
Was the project completed as expected? Was the time and the budget the same you agreed on?
YarMobile did their job quickly and efficiently, within the agreed budget. We have got the working apps as expected.
Did you find their expertise up to what you expected? Did they require any kind of training from your end to understand your product?
They didn't require any special training, it was just a matter of exchanging several emails to clarify our requirements. They had all the knowledge required to create the apps, especially in the sound recording and processing area.

They were flexible and patient. During the development, we asked for many different changes to specification and design. They were always willing to comply and only charged us extra if the change required a lot of extra work. They provided good quality at a reasonable price; we will certainly be using them in the future to add new features to our app.
Is there anything you believe YarMobile could improve on?
They could've put a little bit more effort into their QA before handing the apps to us for internal testing. The number of bugs in test releases was a bit too high at times. However, they eventually fixed them all and the final result was more than satisfactory.

We have created and implemented custom transport management software for handling transport at Balticon S.A., consisting of:

- As many as 34 transport orders handled by one dispatcher at a time - increase by 63%

- The average processing time for registering a new client was around 20 minutes.
- The average assigning time for a new client was around 10 minutes.
- Planning due appointments for each whole month would take around 10 hours (spread in 3 days), since we had to be careful not to miss a certain request or vital information.
- Assigning field operators to said appointments (locations) would take another 2 hours.
- In our old setup we could process around 240 service orders per month.

- BBS and near miss situations were reported on paper, data were entered into an Excel form, sent manually to the appropriate people, checked; it cost a lot of time, paper binders were occupying space
- Striving to achieve the highest level of work culture in the plant
