Sibers developer overview

Sibers is in software development business since 1998. And Sibers\' mobile team, the newest team is, not surprisingly, its busiest. 2003 was when Sibers commenced its first mobile project; if memory serves correct, it was Java ME and C++ for Nokia’s Symbian “smartphone”. Remember Symbian? No? Well, you’re not alone. Anyways, that was many years ago, and platforms and standards have changed considerably. In 2009, Sibers officially formed its Mobile Development Team, covering iOS (formerly iPhone OS), Android OS and Windows Phone (formerly Windows Mobile) coding. And over the last 5+ years, we’ve launched more than 800 mobile apps for these popular platforms. In-between, we’ve even found time to make a few Bada and BlackBerry applications!

iOS App Development

Sibers' iOS team consists of almost 30 developers. The team's leader Igor wrote his first program for iPhone predating the release of the official SDK. Since then the team has successfully released 600+ iOS applications.

Android App Development

Sibers' Android team has built 100+ applications, ranging from little arcade games to large enterprise solutions, consisting of website(s), a server side and mobile app(s) for field personnel. Working shoulder to shoulder with Unix, .NET, PHP and front-end teams, we are ready to move mountains of any height.

Windows App Development

Long before Windows Phone release, we've been practicing in building .NET (C#, VB.NET), C++, JavaScript and XAML-based, desktop and web solutions — everything to be up in arms about your Windows Phone apps today. To learn more about our Windows Mobile experience, please, visit Videoshop app description.

Web Development

Sibers' web development team consists of 40+ gurus in PHP, .NET and front-end. Choosing the most appropriate technology for every particular task, to each our client we offer a unique web development strategy, geared specifically for his tech startup.

Cross Platform App Development

You want a hybrid app — to make it work on all the existing mobile platforms? Okay, at first we'll whisper softly, that native is almost always better. We'll also say, that there are two more cross platform options, which could become a great solution in many cases: these are Unity games and mobile web. However, if you still want a hybrid app (based on Phonegap or Ionic), we'll make it as seamlessly working as the chosen tech permits.

Blackberry App Development

We can deliver apps for Blackberry, the platform Barack Obama is committed to — built in Java or HTML5. Sibers’ custom software design and development outsourcing service is among the world’s best. There are several areas in which our IT services can be employed, including personal applications development, mobile apps for business development and growth, and web development geared specifically for tech startups.

Wearable App Development

Being sports, fitness and workout tracking apps' lovers, we build them frequently and with joy. Especially, when it comes to extending these useful apps to the most cutting edge platforms, such as Android Wear.

Internet of Things (IoT) App Development

Our team of experienced developers know how to work on Android TV development. Besides possessing a solid experience in building apps for the platform, we've assisted in customizing the firmware for an Android STB, branded by one of our clients' telecom-related company.

iPhone App Development

We provide amazing iPhone apps, which range from lifestyle ones, designed to enhance everyday lives of individual users, to corporate solutions, widely utilized within healthcare and manufacturing industries across the Globe.

iPad App Development

Since the iOS 8 release, there is no actually a concept of device type dependent design, today it is about size classes. In short, it means that we create a single app that automatically adapts its UI to any iOS device — iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch — as well as to the device's screen size and orientation.

Igor Chertenkov is iOS Development Team Leader at Sibers. The company, founded in 1998 by Yuriy Bannov, is located in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk, Russia, and employs more than 150 people. Here’s what Igor had to say about his company and the mobile world: What does Sibers? Android and iOS app - Video and audio looping with slow and fast motion
Client: Budget: $20,000 – $25,000 (USD)

This is a very simple app- it needs to play mp4s, H.264, mp3, aac, and all the other most common video and audio formats. The important functions are:

1) Within a video or audio clip, set an A and B point e.g. the clip is 1 minute long, be able to set A at 14 seconds and B at 24 seconds. Set the video to loop continuously between those two points.
2) Ability to set time in between looping- i.e. when the last point is reached, the number of seconds until the video begins playing again (from 0-10 seconds)
3) Slow and fast motion- in conjunction with the A-B looping, be able to adjust the playback speed in increments of .25 from .25 to 2.0. Audio pitch should remain unchanged regardless of speed.
4) Tag system- create tags, add one or more tags to each media file for categorization e.g. salsa, bachata
5) Search functionality to filter media files on phone by tag (drop down menu), name or date
6) Support for Chromecast on the Android version and Airplay on the iOS version if feasible for the budget
7) Simple but elegant UI

change lock-screen picture

Client: Budget: less than €1,000 (EUR)

This should be easy. it is a rather simple app for ios, android and wp.

The main objective of my app is to change the lock-screen picture with a different random picture at a predetermined frequency (ex. daily, hourly, at a specific time...).
All the content i.e. pictures will be provided by me and should either be integrated into the app so that no internet connection will be needed to change the lock-screen picture OR (if size is an issue) be fetched from a remote server. Please use some dummy images for this project.

The app should support multiple languages (ex. english, chinese, spanish, japanese...)

YAP chat is an Instant Messenger for iPad, which turns boring everyday chats into a comic book. Instead of simple text with emoticons user can create unique cartoon strip using vector multi-layer editor.

To compose a message user choose background image, one or several characters with selected emotion, and a variety of additional elements (speech balloons, side annotations, etc). All the elements can be easily moved, rotated, and resized by the user, providing total creative freedom. Created masterpiece can be shared outside the messenger via email or social media.
