We met Saffron Tech through one of the founders of our Company. The founder had worked with Saffron Tech in the past on a project. Seeing the diversity in the team and the expertise of the founders of Saffron Tech they seemed to be the ideal partners for our product.

The project managers of TabOn allocated to us by Saffron Tech helped us achieve important milestones and provided us with updated and accurate project status. They showed great adaptability to changes by understanding the core of our project and helped us overcome various technological obstacles throughout.

2 years of complete technical support and development for a share of equity.

The diversity of the team played an efficient role in providing us with the expertise that we required toward the technical side. However, since the project domain was new to the company we did carry out training from our end, which was understood well and the understanding for the same was reflected towards the development side.

I’m the VP of Night Light Designs. We’re a group of photographers, but instead of just printing our photographs out, we place them into night lights. We sell other products as well, but our main focus is on night lighting.

Explain what your project was about.

They changed our site over to WordPress and migrated over about 4,000 images and products. They also built some custom functionality including ways for us to deal with custom order issues, and coupon and gift codes.

Explain to what scope extend Saffron Tech was involved in your project.

There were a lot of issues with our website, especially on the admin side. I wasn’t able to do a lot of things I wanted, even simple things like changing a paragraph on a webpage—everything was hardcoded in. I was looking for more flexibility and wanted to add products to the site that weren’t on it previously.

How did you get to meet the Saffron Tech team and what led you to hiring them?

We get a lot of emails on a daily basis, and when I became serious about this project, I started to look through them. If I was interested, I reviewed their websites and read reviews, and they would speak with them. I went around with bullet points of some of the things I wanted, and how I wanted them to work, and that seemed to scare some people off. They were more interested in throwing a WordPress site together without a lot of custom functionality. Saffron stepped up and said they could handle it and actually made suggestions to take it even further. That convinced me that they were going to be the best people to deal with.

How was their project management?

We had a lot of meetings - usually at least two a week, which was a little bit of a challenge since I struggled with Skype. They came up with some alternatives that worked out well though.

Also, they've had a spreadsheet that's been my go to. Any time there's an issue I log it onto the spreadsheet and then they comment on it as well. I can track any issues I’ve had along with their response time.

What was the budget range quoted for this project?

The budget was between 45K USD to 50 K USD.

Yes, everything was settled properly and they completed my project on time.

Yes, they delivered what I wanted. I only gave them my project description and no demo was supplied to them.

In hindsight, these guys have taken everything I’ve thrown at them—and it’s been a lot—with a smile. They've really been responsive to everything. I like the suggestions they came up with. I felt like they weren’t pushing to get this website done and move onto the next job. They said numerous times that they could rush it out quicker, but they wanted it to be great and wanted to do everything I wanted. Even though they could've rolled out sooner, they were willing to make the little changes I wanted. That really made me feel like they were out to give me a good website.

They started with development for our website, which began with some attractive, user-friendly mockups. Once we approved their designs, they completed the development. Whenever we faced a technical challenge, they expertly resolved any issues. After they completed the site, we engaged them for site maintenance and mobile app development.

We heard a lot about them in the market. I hired them because their costing and timeline both were very justified to me.

Their project management was excellent. Not only the project manager but their client relationship manager was also very good. We do the weekly and Bi-weekly calls with Project manager and Client Relationship Manager both.

Total project range which we did them was between 40K to 45K USD.

I'm the head of technology, research, and development at a smart watch manufacturer.

Explain what your project was about.

We have a lot of fitness related products in the market like smart bands and smartwatches, till now we had different applications for different products. Now we have been given the responsibility to Saffron Tech team unifying all their products under one application that will work on all there watches. That is something like Fitbit, the application will work will all their products sync data and do more things. Example there are global challenges in the application, the application has two built-in themes, based on a person's actions the app will suggest workouts, you will be able to record your meals and measure your calories intake etc.

The project has a timeline of 10 odd months and a budget of 1,50,000 USD.

Explain to what scope extend Saffron Tech was involved in your project.

Initially, they helped us with a testing project to identify connection and stability issues with our smart watches. They created a document for us, highlighting the root cause of those issues and bringing to our attention the problems we didn't even think of.

They also developed an app for all of our watches. It's a Hub app for the App Store and the Google Play store. Users can install the app and choose the watch that they have. The entire flow is targeted to that watch and users can see everything on their dashboard. We only gave Saffron Tech an idea and they built the app from scratch.

How did you get to meet the Saffron Tech team and what led you to hiring them?

We found them though a Google search. We talked to a number of companies, but we were impressed with Saffron's commitment and their ability to respond quickly. Also, they're very knowledgeable and passionate about their job, so we decided to chose them.

How was their project management?

I've worked with many vendors, but Saffron exceeded my expectations. With some companies, you can expect to do a lot of legwork yourself, but Saffron gave us everything we needed, which made our job easy. Their Client Relationship Manager guy was very decent and active. He always monitoring the project on a top level and push the team to get the things done on time.

The project has a budget range of 145,000 USD - 150,000 USD.

The project was completed on time and when they were stuck in between any technical part, then they use to inform me in advance. Budget and Timeframe both expectation meet correctly here.

They are the master of delivering the IOT and Wearable device projects. I was very comfortable with them in working. I have sent them the sample of watches and they understand my requirements/goals correctly.

The project was about showing our business – both solar and clean energy projects and related services – on our corporate website. We want to attract an audience of both prospective counterparties as well as potential investors.

Saffron Tech did a tremendous job on the project. During the development stage, they not only took my suggestions but also included ideas of their own that we had not considered. They have a different team for UI and UX; both played solid roles on our website. Overall, Saffron’s communication was excellent.

I was introduced by a friend in the industry. I also read up on them in terms of reviews and ratings. After reading reviews, I choose to move ahead with them.
