A virtual guide for Empik’s first “Future Store”

Empik is a commercial chain of stores selling books, international press and media products. Our application guides user through Empik’s new „Future Store”. It makes the experience of shopping easier and more enjoyable.


Developed natively for iPads, the application leads the customer through the various sections of the store. After coming into the range of a beacon, the customers can hear an audio message and read about the section’s features. The app features 10 beacon locations spread throughout the “Future Store”.

THE APP: The app features a fresh and innovative retail concept of a two-hour flower delivery. The flowers are delivered in a hand tied bio-degradable packing which makes it a beautiful and elegant gift idea.

CLIENT: The Flower Chef Ltd is a UK based startup. They saw potential in the innovative way of flower delivery and turned to us to transform their idea into reality. As we anticipated, this was a mutually beneficial partnership.

SOLUTION: We developed a native iOS application allowing users to order elegant flower bouquets. In addition we suggested and implemented functionalities to track the client acquisition channels, analyse client behaviour and much more.

RESULT: We established an ongoing relationship with the client with more functionalities and Android version to come.

THE APP: Application allows users to choose images from their phone gallery, Instagram, Facebook or Dropbox and order them as physical photos in just couple minutes.

A large transport company based in Warsaw is planning to replace all POS-based checkouts installed in buses with innovative mobile solutions (app + POS printer).
One advantage of the new system is that with every sold ticket, the driver can immediately update the bus occupancy status in the central system. On the other hand, the app will help the driver to quickly sell and validate tickets, as well as be aware well in advance of the status of bus occupancy at each stop.

SAS Forum is an app for SAS conference attendants in Poland. Thanks to this app SAS company has provided its attendants with a tool that allows for easy orientation in the agenda, and on the other side it acquired analytical data which help it improve the next conferences.

The calculator allows to count in a simple way the number of calories and nutrition value consumed during the day. With use of unfoldable menu on the right side you can add products from IŻŻ database, History or add a new product. The IŻŻ database holds products in various categories e.g. such as dairy, meat or cereal products. We have prepared not only the app but also pictures and video materials.

Product History

Adding a new product from the calculator also allows you to save it in History. Thanks to this function we can add to products that we recently used to the calculator with ease.

Rules of Healthy Nutrition

Rules of Healthy Nutrition contain information from the Food Guide Pyramid and 11 rules of nutrition to keep the right body mass.

Holds sets of menus for each day of the week with the calories value, fat, sugar, salt and recipes for the dishes. There is 5 sets of menus for each day and a possibility of creating your own custom menu.

In the profile settings you can set gender, body mass, height, age and activity. Thanks to this you can check information about BMI and daily calories intake.

First official app for Reggaeland festival available for iOS and Android. It was created along with Business & Culture agency under the banner of Culture Apps. Apart from the complete guide and event informer Reggaeland the app contains practical information such as eg. Route to Płock from the biggest cities in Poland. The app allows medical doctors to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of lipid disorders, including: assessment of the indications for statin therapy, target LDL-C values, the optimal dose of statins, blood tests schedule, proceeding in the case of suspected complications in statin therapy.

The app allows doctors to enter patient clinical data and biochemical results which provide a basis for guidance in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

We have developed a series of promotional apps for Samsung, including My Valentine, My Bauble and My Postcard. Each app gives you the opportunity to easily design your own postcard. It can be created using a ready template or a picture taken with a camera. The most important feature is the ability to easily print out your postcards using Samsung Mobile Print.

The app is used by passengers of the Atap bus service in the province of Pordenone.

Murakami Notes is a mobile organizer in which each page features a quote by the eminent writer. The app allows for creating daily notes, sharing them with friends, as well as easily finding your archival records.

App created for the Olympic Games in London in 2012.
Our task was to create an app that would support a worthy cause set up by Samsung. The application was to combine the sport idea behind the Olympic Games with the action on behalf of poor children. Thanks to Samsung Hope Relay every kilometer traveled was worth 1 zł, and the income was donated to poor children. The app was launched simultaneously in 8 countries.

SOLUTION

We have developed part of the mobile app for BADA. Our team contributed to the project in its key phase to complete the creation of the app for Samsung OS. The app used GPS integrated with Facebook and Twitter, using many forms of HTTP/HTTPS service. Samsung Hope Relay has been translated into 8 languages, and each form had to look perfectly in each language. To achieve this we have created a number of functions for BADA which distributed the elements on the screen properly.

Anti-Sleep alarm is available on Android OS devices and Samsung Galaxy Gear watches. Samsung Gear watch app has a built in motion sensor, during travel it is required to move your wrist thanks to which the Anti-Sleep alarm knows the driver is not asleep. In case of no such activity the watch will start to vibrate and turn on the alarm. The smartphone version uses a face recognition scanner. Anti-Sleep alarm measures the eye ball movement and checks the attention to the road. When it suspects the driver has fallen asleep it turns on the alarm. Additionally the app can remind about pulling to the side of the road for a short nap.
