Please present yourself and your business.

I am a Consultant and Project Manager a Atos. I was hired by Bull in 2011 and became an Atos member when Bull was purchased by Atos in 2015.
Since 2012 I have been managing projects of implementation and.or improvement of OTRS, as an ITSM tool, or as a tool to manage CRM or Facilities.

Please explain what your project was about.

I started an OTRS implementation project at a customer's in november 2012. The first company I hired consultants from was OTRS AG, but I was very unhappy about them (very expensive, not flexible, bad customer relationship due to consultant's behaviour...) I had to find another company in a hurry. I contacted OPGK Rzeszów (now branded as OPGK Software) and we are working together since February 2013.

Give us some details about the scope of work you assigned to OPGK Software.

Install software, populate reference data (users, assets, and so on), define groups, files, and so on; set up load balancing, reporting; migrate to next major version; support underlying OS (Linux) at a customer's where all the other servers are Windows based.

How was their project management?

Good. By the way, I acted as a PM towards the customer.

Was the project completed as expected? Was the time and the budget the same you agreed on?

Yes, on time and on (very reasonable) budget.

Did you find their expertise up to what you expected? Did they ever require any kind of training from your end to understand your product?

They are experts and are able to onboard additional experts in case of issues (for instance, we migrated OTRS from Linux/PostgreSQL to Windows/MS-SQL, encountered many issues, they were able to provide at no extra cost a Windows expert who solved the issue)

Is there anything you believe OPGK Software could improve on?

The workload evaluation for the job to do. They under-estimated it some times, and the contingency I added was just enough to be on time and on budget.
