  • SLOW
    Client: Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 (USD)

A tool to make learning meditation possible, easy and intuitive for anyone that needs help and guidance in their everyday ritual.

We simplified the registration process, added an option to pick the plan and payment. The app keeps track of user’s progress, allows planning everyday meditation sessions and checking archived statistics.

INTERVIEWED BY APPFUTURA ON AUG 25, 2017

Please introduce yourself and your company.

We are a small company, only myself and my partner. We wanted to create an application for meditation. It is for people that don't meditate on a daily basis, but we wanted to encourage people to start to meditate.

I myself am a yoga practitioner. I do meditations every day and other similar practices. My partner, he is a meditation teacher and ayurvedic specialist with 15 years of experience.

Could you explain what your project was about?

We needed to prepare an application for guided meditation. It had to be in Polish and be easy to navigate, as well as user friendly. We only had our logo ready and a business card.

What was the scope you assigned to Mobitouch?

The design was prepared by them based on our logo and business card. I gave them our site map to base the application on that. They had additional creative thoughts and ideas and prepared a landing page for the application as well. Finally, they also did the CMS.

How did you meet Mobitouch and what lead you to hiring them?

I got in touch to 5 or 6 companies that I found online. I checked their references and received several offers. The offer from Mobitouch was in the middle range of prices. I asked 3 of the companies to make a more complete presentation.

Mobitouch presented themselves in the best way. They were also very young, which was good for us because we wanted a young team. Their references were also impressive and we decided to cooperate with them. We also felt that they had a very good dunderstanding of our needs.

    How was their Project Management?

It was very professional. We only had one contact person, Pavel, and I sent him all my emails, requirements and comments. He was good.

At the beginning we agreed on the scope and they prepared the initial designs for the application and landing page and there were a lot of comments and change requirements. This was very well prepared because we had a link to the graphics and we could comment right on them, which was diretly visible by their team.

Was their expertise up to what you expected?

I think they understood the project and the purpose of the application. There were minor things in a manner that we didn't quite like, but they would just change it, so it was not a big deal.

What was the budget range of the project?

It was between 5,000 USD and 8,000 USD.

As far as time and budget goes, was everything as planned or were there any surprises?

There were delays, but the reason for them was our fault because me and my partner were not responsive enough - we were busy with personal plans. Besides that, the project went right on schedule.

What would you say are the best things about Mobitouch?

Their graphic design was very good and they were very responsive.

Are there any areas you feel Mobitouch could improve on?

At the end of the project, they were a little less creative than at the beginning, so we had to be very detailed about the changes we wanted.

  • iWisher
    Client: Budget: €5,000 – €10,000 (EUR)

Our main challenge was to make the iWisher website more appealing to the users by developing an intuitive solution.

Based on the received mockups we introducted both an app for iOS and Android using native code. A custom system plugin was created to allow saving the offers in a swift way.

INTERVIEWED BY APPFUTURA ON AUG 25, 2017

Please introduce yourself and your company.

I am Michal Korba, CEO of iWisher, a gift founding app. An app where your friends can all chip in for your dream gift.

Could you explain what your project was about?

I needed to develop a mobile application for the existing web application. We created our start up, iWisher, and we developed a web application ourselves. We launched it and had some traffic, so we decided to develop our own mobile application. We don't have in-house mobile developer, so we looked for an agency to outsource.

What was the scope you assigned to Mobitouch?

The scope was developing a mobile application for Android and iOS and integrate it with our web application trough our API.

UI/UX was created by some other designer. Mobitouch have could also done it for me, but I wanted to count on another designer and Mobitouch focused on the coding and testing.

How did you meet Mobitouch and what lead you to hiring them?

I met Mobitouch on a conference here in Poland. That was several months after we launched our web application and several months before deciding to develop the mobile application. We had a quick chat on the conference.

When we decided to develop the application, I sent the specifications to several mobile application companies. I decided to talk to 3 of them in more detail, one of them was Mobitouch. After reviewing price offers, current clients and everything, I decided to work with Mobitouch.

    How was their Project Management?

It was very good. There were several steps: creating specification, accepting from both sides, creating sprints, arranging a platform for communication (Redmine)... We were in touch with a Project Manager and had continued communication. There was a slight delay of 2 days, but they informed me beforehand, so it was alright. I would say everything was fine.

Was their expertise up to what you expected?

It was very good. They were professional and were always prepared for conversation and brought quality from the technical point of view.

What was the budget range of the project?

    It was somewhere around 10,000€.

As far as time and budget goes, was everything as planned or were there any surprises?

Everything was as planned. We scheduled some development time. It ended up being 8 weeks instead of 7, but they had already warned me by week 5. The schedule process was really good altogether.

What would you say are the best things about Mobitouch?

Personal contact with them was quite OK. I am not a developer, so I can't review the code. In my experience, they were a very good partner to work with.

Are there any areas you feel Mobitouch could improve on?

From my perspective, not really. Everything was as it was supposed to.
