The challenge that was presented to Live Typing was to create an Android app adapting the existing iOS app: Glovo, a startup delivery app from Barcelona
The objective of the project was to adapt the app while keeping the same design and functionalities.
Live Typing delivered the app on time and with full features, even rebuilding part of the app architecture to make it faster and more stable.
At Live Typing we worked for Conde Nast Russia to create the Allure Beauty Product Finder app with great results, so we were contacted again to develop an app from an existing design: Vogue Collections. Live Typing had to work together with Conde Nast Russia designer, Aleksandr Rasputin to create a seamless UI and UX.
The objective of the project was to create a quality mobile app for fashion fans following the given design by the client.
Live Typing delivered a top quality product, which received great reviews on the app stores with an user rating of 4.5 out of 5.
The app is designed to allow quick, simple and unlimited access to the photo album of the runway shows, back-stages, and front-row faces. The user has access as well to a complete fashion collection archive of the previous seasons. Bookmarks and offline mode features available.
On the first launch, the mobile app launches a loading screen. To help the user get a good feel of the app's touch & feel from the first interaction, the app was designed so that the app icon and the loading screen have the same design, but with inverted colors instead.
After opening the app, the user is taken to the main screen, which is a feed of latest collections.
The user can nvaigate the app from the main menu, which is separated into categories: Ready to wear, Couture, Menswear, Bridal, Pre-fall, Resort. The app also features a search engine.
When a new collection becomes available, a notification pops up next to the category menu to inform the user of new content.
In the galleries, pictures are arranged in a grid within the collection to ease the viewing. If the user wants to see a particular collection, he can enter the gallery's feed mode by tapping any of the photos. The app also allows pinch gestures to change from the grid mode to the feed mode.
