The most popular cash-service LetyShops has set itself an ambitious goal to enter the market of mobile solutions in 2017. The team of “Lampa Studio” was involved as experts in the field of mobile at the design stage of the application. In the course of joint development of the application concepts (including its interaction with the server via API), the task was set to organize the most comfortable transition to the mobile interface for 5 million users of the service.

A special emphasis was put on using the latest design approaches for maximum performance and scalability of the application. Among other things, the project for both platforms was decided to use the REALM database and the MVP design pattern.

Interesting moments in the development also became the implementation of dynamic forms for the withdrawal of funds through various payment systems, displaying personalized cacheback rates, working with the user profile, working offline, as well as using the capabilities of rxjava

The client tasked us to create the first weather application in Ukraine – UNIAN Weather. The project was developed from the ground up for iOS and Android platforms.

During the work, the main emphasis was put on the UX, which the user receives when interacting with the application. Since the application contains many different data (hourly forecast, forecast for the month, weather along the route, weather at the resorts, etc), was put emphasis on convenient, pleasant and intuitive access to all the interesting information.

From the technical point of view, the project implemented multilanguage, full work with geolocation, built-in database, data caching, as well as application work in offline mode and in unstable Internet conditions.

A separate direction, designed to make additional impression the users from the project, was the animation of precipitation. So, in the application it was realized more than 10 variants of animated precipitation: sun rays, fog, rain, snow and other.

The leader among Ukrainian news agencies – IA “Ukrainian National News” (UNN) decided to become mobile in 2018. The agency’s editors turned to Lampa Studio with clear requirements for implementation the project.

As a result of the work, mechanisms were implemented to conveniently view various photos, videos, online broadcasts, “endless” news feeds, add favorites, switch languages, search. The main emphasis in working on the application was made on the maximum convenience and flexibility of the application, compliance with modern architectural requirements, and media capabilities.

As a result, the application was updated for iOS, as well as a full refactoring of the application “UNIAN” Android. Among other things, mechanisms were implemented to easily view photo galleries, videos, online conferences, “endless” news feed, add to favorites, switch languages. Also, the design was updated (in the version of Android) and the Google DFP advertising platform was integrated.

One of the largest media holdings of Ukraine “1+1 Media” set the task to update the existing application of one of its priority Internet resources TSN (TSN.ua).

Among other things, the development of a completely new application engine was made, the design and functionality of the application was completely updated, and the transition to a new version of the API was carried out.

The main emphasis in working on the application was made on media capabilities. So, the application implements the display of various photos, photo galleries, videos, newscasts, Youtube videos, and integration with the video service of OVVA Holding (1+1 Video).
