    I am Rahul, a Product advisor for different product companies in India and USA. I take care of the existing product based on market feedback. I also take care of the complete development cycle and help to scale the product.

    Explain what your project was about.

    We have an enterprise product that needs further development on the back end and an Android app for our customers. Debut team had to develop an Android app along with its server side that we could offer to our end clients who signed up with us.

    Explain to what scope extend Debut Infotech was involved in your project.

    They were responsible for the Android app development and enhancement on APIs. We basically gave them a set of instructions on what needed to be done and they took care of the rest.

    How did you get to meet the Debut Infotech team and what led you to hiring them?

    We searched for many companies through Google and short-listed 6 of them. Debut became our choice because of their professionalism and courtesy and also they were very open to our ideas and were very friendly.

    How was their project management?

    The project was handled quite well and developed as expected. We had weekly meetings and demo walk through for the project. They used the best industry tools during development They were available to answer and solve all our queries at any point of the day, The communication part was awesome.

    Was the project completed as expected? Was the time and the budget the same you agreed on?

    Yes, the project was completed in-time and it did not incur any further costing to our decided budget.

    Did you find their expertise up to what you expected? Did they require any kind of training from your end to understand your product?

    I found them well-equipped with their technical knowledge and were quick to understand the project scope and its requirements without a fail.

    I am Shanon Ha, Director and Founder of Entwine Pty Ltd. Entwine Pty Ltd is a West Australian based startup company with the goal of helping people find things to do and meet others with similar interests as them.

    Explain what your project was about.

    We worked with Debut Infotech to build our vision into an application, Entwine. The vision is to help people find things to do in an instant and to feed that on-demand hunger. As we are still in the early stages of our project, we worked with Debut Infotech to develop a beta version of the application to test the market to gather data.

    Explain to what scope extend Debut Infotech was involved in your project.

    Debut was hired to develop and design the application of Entwine. We sent them rough ideas and examples on what we desired. This was then trimmed down to what we deemed as our minimal viable product so that we could launch a beta and conduct our experiment. They also created the admin panel for us, which helps us maintain and gather data on Entwine.

    How did you get to meet the Debut Infotech team and what led you to hiring them?

    We searched up various app development companies online and came across Debut Infotech. The reason we chose them over others was because of their reputation online and that their past work is in a similar field than the one we wished to develop with Entwine.

    How was their project management?

    Debut Infotech set out a very detail scope and timeline to which the project would be developed. I was very impressed as not only were they on time, in some cases things were completed earlier. Even when adding/changing an aspect in the app or the admin panel, they were very prompt and initiated the change by the following day.

    Was the project completed as expected? Was the time and the budget the same you agreed on?

    In terms of the original scope everything was completed to the level we were expecting. We, however, went over the original budget that was quoted to us. This was no fault by Debut Infotech in anyway, as we went over the original quote because we wanted to add additional features that were not in the original scope.

    Did you find their expertise up to what you expected? Did they require any kind of training from your end to understand your product?

    We found their expertise very satisfactory as they did not have to learn anything new when trying to understand our product. The only complicated thing (as it was new to us) was putting our product on the Google Play Store to go live. Debut Infotech walked us through the entire process and it was very easy to follow.

    I will highlight their top 3 aspects:
    1. Promptness
    2. Technical expertise
    3. Flexibility to change

    Is there anything you believe Debut Infotech could improve on?

    I believe the biggest weakness is on the communication end. This is mostly evident during changes/alterations to the product. As there have been times when I have said to change something and the change was not conducted exactly as I explained. This may be an issue on our end in terms of explaining or on Debut Infotech’s end on interpretation. It is difficult to pinpoint, however I would like to see them show the better examples on what they think we would like. This would improve communication drastically. However, I am very happy with their responsiveness to our messages.

    Project management was good and they were keen to respond to our queries and work according to our feedback. We use Basecamp as our project management software, and we have meetings and sessions once a week . They’re always available to take calls and to make changes.

    Yes, the project was completed as expected and within the time and budget prescribed.

    Their technical expertise was majorly adequate. Yes we did have to give some clarity at times but that was mostly due to the uniqueness of our concept. They took care of the technical part pretty well.

    My full name is Yogesh Yadav. I have been working with HDFC Bank for 4.5 years now.

    What was your project about?

    The project we had was an Android app, as it is the most predominant OS in India. We are a banking company and insurance is one of our products. We don't have full-time employees for selling insurance, but rather students and housewives that sell these products in exchange for a commission.

    It was inconvenient for these people to carry around a lot of papers and documentation about our insurance products. That is why we wanted an app with all information about the insurance products and even sell the policies remotely, making the process a lot quicker.

    How did you meet Debut Infotech and what led you to hiring them?

    We found them through Google, looking for companies in the area. We shortlisted Debut Infotech and a couple of others.

    The price they offered was more reasonable and, most importantly, the timeline was also more convenient. After doing voice interviews with them, we felt comfortable to work with them.

    You could say that the decision was made based on their communication skills plus a good pricing and time.

    What was the scope assigned to Debut Infotech?

    Debut Infotech are a one-stop shop and we did not want to outsource different parts of the project. They had to create the app from scratch and up to completion. They did everything from wireframing to design and coding.

    How was their Project Management?

    Communication skills were very important to us and the Project Manager from Debut Infotech was very easy to reach and understand. He didn't use too many technical words. We are in the banking sector, so we are not very technical, but they made it very easy to understand what they were doing and explain different technologies. It made our lives easier.

    They were using Basecamp for project management and also the telephone for voice calls.

    Regarding the time and the budget, was everything as expected?

    No surprises at all. Debut Infotech gave us a timeline and a budget and we told them upfront that we would not approve any change request. The scope was finalized upfront.

    Was their expertise up to what you expected?

    I am not a technical person, so I may not be the best to judge. But our app is working the way it is supposed to and we don't have any problems.

    What are the best things about Debut Infotech?

    The best thing was communication. They were always available for calls, even with us having odd timings for the call outside of their work hours.

    Their wireframes were very detailed and pricise. Each and every detail was highlighted, so my seniors would know how the final app would look like.

    They also respected the budget and timeline, which was very important for us.

    Any areas Debut Infotech could improve on?

    I don't want to be over critical, but I guess they should recruit more UI/UX experts. I am happy with the design they provided and the cost it had.

    We initially talked to European designers and we could not afford them, so we were happy to work with Debut Infotech on design too. However, if they hired more senior designers, that would be very good for them.

    What was your project about?

    We were working on an application that allows customers to write real-time online reviews.

    What was the scope assigned to Debut Infotech?

    I told them what I wanted in a high level requirement. Debut Infotech were really helpful in narrowing down the requirements. They were very detailed, probably the best company I have worked with in terms of shaping a project and put it together.

    Debut Infotech did the entire application and the website.

    How was their Project Management?

    Debut Infotech provided a project plan and we went through milestones. I know that when doing a software project everything is not going to be perfect. The great thing for me is that they were flexible. If there was an emergency, they would assign someone immediately to fix it.

    They were never focused on charging more money, but in putting out a quality produt.

    Regarding budget and time, was everything with Debut Infotech as expected?

    They did a fixed price project. It never really went over, even when there was more worked on their side than expected. Howevet, Debut Infotech got the project done within budget.

    Was their expertise up to what you expected?

    We were doing something that no one had done before. They would research and figure things out. Their expertise was spot on.

    What are the best things about Debut Infotech?

    Their communication and the willingness to always deliver. They go above and beyond to make sure the project gets done. They had technical expertise for anything that I needed.

    Any areas Debut Infotech could improve on?

    I wouldn't say there are areas to improve on. They went out of their way, so when something actually went wrong, they had a team to communicate with and fix things.
