Caribou Adventure is an educational endless runner, designed and developed on iOS and Android for the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board (NWMB).

The NWMB commissioned Arctic Empire to produce an addictive, engagement-driven mobile game to help educate players on proper caribou harvesting and management for smarter caribou hunting regulations in the province of Nunavut.

Through the use of fast-paced, responsive gameplay and interstitial fun-facts and trivia, our team was able to deliver a memorable gameplay experience powered by caribou knowledge that helped the NWMB successfully pass their new caribou hunting regulations. And to help assist with adoption in the province of Nunavut, Caribou Adventure was translated in both English and one of Nunavut’s principle Inuit languages, Inuktitut.

Beyond that, our team worked with local independent artists in Nunavut to obtain a musical license that would become the soundtrack to Caribou Adventure’s gameplay.
