OCDLab developer overview

We believe in innovation with simplicity. Great inventions that have changed the world... the wheel, pulley, lever, are all simple ideas.. then why should be software development any different? That is what stands us apart from others. We like to think differently and try to find solutions with simple yet innovative approach.

That is what stands us apart from others. We like to think differently and try to find solutions with simple yet innovative approach.

We are not just a follower to what client has asked and instead provide ideas/suggestions to polish and refine the concept. If you are looking for just another software development firm or a digital agency, we are probably not a right fit but if you are looking for a technology partner who can share your challenges and work together to make things happen, then we are the right people to get in touch with... INTERVIEWED BY APPFUTURA ON NOV 22, 2017

Please present yourself and your business.

We are a digital agency and every now and then our clients ask for app and web development. We have been using OCDLab from last few years and they have never disappointed us.

Explain what your project was about.

We have worked on multiple projects together. I won't be able to share many details about one specific project but these are usually mid to large size applications in real estate, healthcare, calendar & scheduling domains.

Explain to what scope extend OCDLab was involved in your project.

Our clients usually give us a creative brief or simple one-page requirement document. The OCDLab team is responsible for scoping and documentation, designing, development, and QA. So in other words, end to end software development.

How did you get to meet the OCDLab team and what led you to hiring them?

One of my friends introduced me to their CEO and I was really impressed with his clarity and simplistic approach. We started with a very simple location-based app and then kept going back to them with other needs.

    How was their project management?

Great. We use Trello for task tracking and have a weekly stand up meeting to go over progress. I don't think I have ever had any issues with timeline or deadlines.

Did you find their expertise up to what you expected? Did they require any kind of training from your end to understand your product?

Yes, the team is great and really good at learning new things and keeping up with technologies.

Please highlight the best things about OCDLab.

Communication and their ability to simplify the scope to a true MVP level.

Is there anything you believe OCDLab could improve on?

They dont send invoices on time and they need to work on that.
