I worked with ProductCrafters to launch a stock analysis website. The main part of the project was to implement the calculation of the financial metrics for stocks. Having used third-party APIs, they arranged data flow and integrated calculation mechanism.

I am the Founder/CEO of BeautyAdvisor, a San Francisco based company. BeautyAdvisor is the fastest-growing beauty network to discover new looks, get advice, find local professionals and more - all in one place. It’s the new way for people to find the inspiration they need to look and feel their best.
We hired ProductCrafters to take over our mobile app development which a previous company failed to complete. They also agreed to build an admin console and update our website within our timeframe of seven months.
We wanted a top-notch app and had all of the designs (75 pages total) ready in Sketch. The app needed to work with our current website which already had thousands of existing users and almost a million photos/videos uploaded.
After performing the inception stage and analyzing the current build, ProductCrafters decided to rewrite old site backend to solve some existing problems. The second step was to develop React-Native app for iOS. After that, they created pro featuring abilities and developed the admin console app for content moderation and user support.
Initially, we had several meetings each week over Google Meet. We decided to use Trello for project management which allowed us to follow an agile workflow. This helped bring structure to scale the software development process. After a month, we decided on weekly video chats through Google Meet would be sufficient to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and resolve issues as they came up.
We continue to receive very positive feedback from our industry pros and users. Within weeks of the app launch, hundreds of new looks and beauty tutorials were added on a daily basis to make the visual experience as inspiring and enjoyable as possible. For version 1 of the app, I would say that it was a huge success.
The project manager that we were assigned to was very knowledgable and easy to communicate with. We were in constant communication over Slack but managed the project development with Trello. It usually takes time to get into a flow but we were able to do this right away since the team knew what questions to ask in the beginning and were able to execute perfectly.
What most impressed me about ProductCrafters was their dedication to my project and understanding of our goals. They were very honest and transparent throughout the entire process and even invited me to Ukraine prior to the app launch to meet the team and work with them in their office. The travel time was long, but it was well worth it. Every member of their team - Oleg, Olexsii, Vadim, Anatoly, and Alex Strong were superstars. They are extremely hard working and great people.
