Our Customer’s aim was to help their client to navigate the complexities of customs clearance, duty and tax payments and keep goods on the move.

CC Collect Pay is a platform to facilitate tax payment process – an online mechanism to make duty and VAT payments run quickly and securely. CC Collect Pay has a web and mobile application (iOS and Android) with the help of which you can register and see all your purchases. It is possible to pay for an item by credit/debit card or PayPal system   from anywhere you have your smartphone with you.

The app provides with  social media integration. The user is able to login via Facebook, Google and share pictures in Twitter, Instagram.

Due to  built-in YouTube-player  and integration with YouTube the users can upload video to the YouTube account that will be displayed in the app.

We implemented the ability to work with Google Maps: searching for sellers on the map by their location.

Built-in chats allow the buyers to communicate with the sellers within the app. Сhats were built on WebSockets with the chat history storage in CouchDB.

There is an ability to save and sort horses in different collections (groups) from the list inside the app and also form other resources outside the app.

There is an admin part of the app that allows to manage the notifications that are sent to users: scheduled and automatic by trigger.

We created a custom Timeline control to visualize the current status of a parcel on the time axis. The application is able to show a detailed statue of a parcel.

To interact with the server-side application we used the REST API implemented on Alamofire in iOS and on Retrofit 2 in Android.

Initially, the server-side application sent the data in an incorrectly formed XML format. To fix it we developed its own XML parser to process it. After the server was updated on the side of the customer and mobile app started to receive data in JSON format. To work with JSON, we used Swift built-in toolkit and GSON library for Android.
