What clients have you worked for?

Freindr, Mgarage, Convenient Cart, Danto and Education ERP.

If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?

Social networks, e-commerce and gaming.

What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?

10K USD - 15K USD (no comprmise on quality).

Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

The pros we find about developing all mobile apps in-house are: complete control, management of resource, home grown, control over quality.

Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?

Friendr and Eduation ERP.

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

Native apps are our favourites because of it is best to customize at any point and platform, they have the best security and the they are the best in class experience and the best performance.

Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?

Android's Pros:

  • The biggest market share
  • Wider demographics
  • Variety of devices
  • Higher ad revenue
  • Fewer requirements for development
  • Faster review in Google Play
  • Cheaper to feature on Google Play
  • Easy publication
  • More beta testers

Android's Cons:

  • Fragmentation
  • More potential bugs

iOS' Pros:

  • Higher app revenue
  • Dedicated user base
  • Better e-commerce results
  • Fewer lines of code
  • Firmer/fewer bugs
  • Better developer tools

iOS' Cons:

  • Longer review process
  • Smaller market share

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

Android will continue to be the market Leader.

Which device/platform is the best in the market right now?

Android is the best platform in the market right now but both Android and iOS have their advantages and disadvantages. Android has a bigger audiance and it's the market leader, while iOS has its loyal audiance.

Giving a customer prespective, Android is cheaper to develop than iOS and has less chances of app rejection.

And which device/platform do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

My personal favourite is iOS, elegant and classy. But at the same time, both platforms have tons of options, various different elements and a lot to get your head around before you can really dive in. iOS gives you less options and Android opens the world for you. Coming to the quality, device and feel iOS gives you a classy, elegant look and feel of any app.In terms of navigation, the most obvious difference is that iOS devices lack a back button and so need to include them in the UI (normally in the top left).

Including a back button in Android is generally considered a no-no. Publishing an app in Android's Google Play Store is much more easier than iOS and there is always a good chance of your app to be rejected.
