Let’s see what Vivek Agarwal has to say about Vipra and the mobile app development world.

What does Vipra do?

Vipra offers an end to end solution of technology for small to large sized organizations; we are a technology partner with a solution from creation to promotion offering the mobile and web application development and getting them marketed to ensure a digital success to our clients. We have a dedicated team of research and development to ensure Vipra adapts to the latest technologies and gives the best solution to businesses. We have an Agile approach towards the projects that we get, our team is specialized in preparing a high level BRD, FRD, wireframe, UX, UI, core development, QA, launching, marketing, maintenance and upgrading on a time to time basis.

We have a dedicated team for every role, with a total strength of 100+ resources; each individual is committed to provide the service with the best practices in the industry, ensuring the Agile and Scrum frameworks. The process is made very convenient for our clients, and it empowers our users to communicate with the team any time they want, real time tracking of the progress, making new suggestions, identifying issues and bugs in the early time, all this has boosted the productivity and customer experience.

Our team consists of business development, business analyst, quality, Android development, iOS development, UI/UX designer, backend development, web development, digital marketing, HR, admin and management. Each member is internally audited at a regular interval to ensure we have an Agile approach for the maximum ROI.

We always say it’s for People and by People, and our people are the one who have worked hard to achieve the reputation of being one of the leading app development company across the app development market and assisting clients from across the globe with hands in all different verticals like Travel, E-commerce, Social Networking, Entertainment, Utility, Electronics, and others.

We know if we have to be consistent with the growing nature that we have, we have to adapt to the latest tech happening all around the world, and this is what we do, we try to ensure our clients get the best, updated and scalable technology, in all possible ways.

What clients have you worked for?

We provide a large solution to IT companies worldwide by taking over the outsource business. Some of our clients name are: Beesline, Compra y venta, Yatra Sath, VIT, ISA, Fantadeal and Any Data

If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?

We have worked on several platforms and verticals, making the team extensively prepared for any challenge, However, if we have to say which vertical do we work for the most it would be iOS apps, Android and Web. We have provided several features which have made classified business a new trend in the industry, we have experience on Travel portals. The team has done an exclusive research on several national and international travel applications, and have created a benchmark of functions and have delivered a real good product line for our clients.

What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?

The average budget that we work on is close to 40K to 50K USD, still the solution starts from 2K USD and may go up to 200K USD based on the features, requirements, technology used, services requested and we give extra perks as well as annual maintenance, free upgrades to new versions of IOS and Android and most importantly guaranteed delivery as per schedule. It would not be fair to say an average budget as every app is unique in nature and has a different cost; we can say our solution starts from $15/hour.

Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

We ourselves take a lot of projects which are outsourced from development companies across the globe; we have an in-house development team very efficient and effective to cater to our client’s needs. We have developed an Agile method to ensure we give the best solution to our clients, we give an introduction of our entire team, and even in the process of project progress, the client has a facility to talk to the members of the team involved in the project. For larger organizations and enterprise solutions we give the option to interview our people, we even offer offshore development centers for bigger projects.

Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?

We have developed several mobile apps, more than 50, however.

Yatrasath: In this app we have developed several features in competition to Make My Trip and other industry giants.

Compra y venta: We have designed several features to take over the classified industry.

Fantadeal: We have customized Magento extensions here to achieve the goals set by the client.

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

We develop native apps majorly and advise our clients to go with native apps, as this is reliable and can be customized as per the business requirement, while in hybrid, this can be economical, however, can be restricted with functions and device range. As business grows the need of upgradation is always there, then native is proved as cost effective while in hybrid the upgrade needs to be planned again and needs to be considered through native from scratch most of the time, so this means initial investment made for hybrid app will all be in vain.

Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?

It would be very difficult to answer this question, we consider facility rather than pros or cons here. Each platform has delivered an all-encompassing range of functions, and keep on updating their features on a regular basis, rather frequent basis. iOS has worked exceptionally great in terms of UI and functions, while, Android has achieved a lot of praise with their roles and high level UI.

I see just one small problem here and that is the range of devices, it becomes a small challenge to ensure the right functions on some of the devices and still both have their own identity and are doing great.

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

I see new technology evolving every day, and with Android being an open source, it gives multiple opportunities for Android developers, while iOS being a product of Apple (we know how Apple works) the great hardware support and amazing software solution will definitely keep Android work hard to keep up, so I guess both perform wonderful and give people like us an immense opportunity to learn more.

Which device is the best in the market right now?

Well Apple iPhone 8 being launched recently is definitely a topic to discuss, however, Samsung S8 has for sure given a strong head to Apple, I have both and I love both of them. So “Best” will remain as a question.

And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

We being a mobile app development company, we love to code for apps, it’s the same for us be it iOS or Android, the team is really cool about both devices. Still, if I need to choose one, we would consider Apple, because of the limitation of devices, it gives an option to test on all the available devices, to ensure the compatibility challenge is not there and being a major client tale from US and Gulf, we have majority of IOS users base. At times clients do not have Android devices to test the apps too.
