Tell us a little bit about your previous work
Over the past 4+ years that I’ve spent along Brihaspati Infotech, I have had the opportunity to generate new leads over different job portals similar to Appfutura. My experience includes requirement analysis, consultation and pitching our services to decision makers for businesses all around the globe in order to get clients on board while assuring a soothing experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Other than this, I have been consistently following new technology trends and changes in the web and mobile development ecosystem in order to come up with meaningful and information rich articles for our company blog.
What does your mobile app development company do?
We offer end to end services for mobile applications including designing, development, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Our primary USP’s are:
What clients have you worked for?
We have worked for clients across the globe that included startup, intermediate, as well as Enterprise level clients.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?
While we’ve worked with apps in a variety of categories, a large number of them have been utility applications.
What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?
Around $4000 to $8000
Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?
We have a dedicated team of 120+ inhouse developers among which we have a 50+ member team for mobile app development. Hence, we never had the need to outsource any part or process of the app development process since the past 8 years.
Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?
Following are couple of our best mobile apps we have built so far:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/imgr-instant-messenger/id778715944?ls=1&mt=8
These apps had unique concepts and complex logics running behind them which had our developers often flex their fingers.
Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?
Yes, we prefer native app development as it let’s use the core features of the operating system and the mobile applications built natively deliver a much more optimized user experience. As native apps uses the APIs of the operating system, this provides much more flexibility to come up with unique solutions which might not be possible in some case through hybrid app development.
Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?
Android Pros
Android Cons
iOS Pros
iOS Cons
Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?
We believe that Android has a more promising future within the next 5 years. The prime reason behind this is the numerous mobile brands using Android and each brand trying to bring in new hardware in a mobile device.
This opens up new possibilities of developing more unique applications in the near future.
For example: mobile brand Oppo recently launched the much hyped under the screen fingerprint reader, whereas Apple had to remove their fingerprint reader to keep up with the rising trend of bezel less displays in the smartphone market.
As Apple is the only company who is creating hardware for IOS, it is steadily losing the battle to the variety of hardware manufacturers that use Android to power their devices.
Which device is the best in the market right now?
We believe Google Pixel 2 is the best available device in the market due to the way it utilizes Artificial Intelligence to empower features that we never thought would exist 5 years back.
While Apple had to use 2 cameras to optimize their image quality, Google was able to achieve slightly better results (if not the same) with combining one camera with Artificial Intelligence. On top of that, they provide Google lens that uses Google’s AI engine to get information about objects just by pointing the camera to it.
Google is significantly leading the way with AI and the AI integration in Pixel 2 along with the flexibility of Android makes it the best device in the market right now.
And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for? Why?
Although our personal favorite device to use is Android, when it comes to app development, Iphone takes the cake. Primarily because of the lesser lines of code that are required to develop the app and better development tools like SWIFT provided by apple.
Why is AppFutura useful to you?
The key feature that really attracted us to appfutura is that they are focusing just on app development services and their application process seems much more refined as compared to other platforms. On top of that, the Job postings we have noticed so far appears to be much more genuine and investment worthy (both in terms of time and cost). While we are just starting with this platform, it has really got our hopes high.
