What does SI Global Solutions do?

We develop custom based solutions that produce efficient systems. Such mobile apps provide support to business growth needs, allow greater customer satisfaction and meet more needs specifically. We turn ideas into products. We not only develop apps as per client requirements but we also have expertise working for different industries. We have served in the following sectors: food, healthcare, social networking, educational, taxi, business, location.

What clients have you worked for?

AreaChops, Effizzie, BreakfastBuddy, qPhrase, DWB, Moods&Foods, MusuemGo, Commonality, RedRoute, CarBoss, CAT Website, FRS, Musician Website, etc.

If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?

Management systems.

What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?

$10,000 - $ 15,000

Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

In-house. Outsourcing some parts of the projects can be a pain sometimes. We usually face issues like reliability, delay and monitoring of work to be done in case of outsourcing.

Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?

Store Perfect (management system for Colgate) because it is an Enterprise level app and one work that is useful in terms of effective reporting of tasks.

AreaChops was from a different nature that our team never worked on. But our team pulled it off brilliantly and this app is now live and generating good business for our client.

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

Hybrid and Native. Hybrid apps require less efforts and they don’t take as much time as native apps. We choose Native apps for complexed apps to ensure a good quality of the delivered work.

Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?

iOS Pros

  • Better update strategy than Android
  • Clear and sharp UI
  • Smoother backup process

iOS Cons

  • Hardware and storage restrictions
  • Less backing up options
  • Deleting user’s music

Android Pros

  • Choices in terms of widgets, application, devices and layouts
  • Easy connectivity with computer through different tools

Android Cons

  • Backup with Google is not user friendly
  • Glitches after updates

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

I guess iOS as it’s all about simplicity and never compromises on its product quality.

Which device is the best in the market right now?

iOS. No doubt it is more expensive than Android devices but iOS assures reliability of the device and is smoother in terms of UI, touch and performance.

And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

Android, because it has less restrictions than iOS.
