What does your mobile app development company do?

NetSet Software is a leading software development company providing development services for mobile apps, CRM/ERP, custom software, website and maintenance support for Federal, State and Commercial agencies.

We've a team of 70+ experienced and PMP certified Project Manager, Designers, Developers and QA Engineers. We are using Agile SCRUM process and PMBOK best practices to deliver each product to our clients. Our primary objective is to develop an environment of fairness, honesty, integrity, and courtesy towards our customers, employees, vendors and society at large. NetSet as an organization will not limit the focus to provide technology services alone but also stay accountable to plan, build, manage, control and justify clients investments.

What clients have you worked for?

We are providing services globally to the Federal, State and Commercial agencies.

If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?

As we are a software development company since 2011, we've mix of expertise in different technologies with more than 3 years of experience, so we're not specific to any category. We developed many apps in the following categories:

  • Social networking/Messaging/Chatting/Dating mobile apps
  • Event based apps
  • Rewards/Loyalty mobile apps
  • E-commerce/Buy and sell apps
  • Health and Fitness apps
  • Business apps
  • Lifestyle apps
  • Entertainment and Utility
  • Supply chain and Logistic management
  • Wallet apps
  • TV apps
  • Taxi App/Ride sharing App/Pooling App
  • Video Calling App
  • Photo editing/Sharing apps

What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?

The budget rage starts from $2,500 and the rest depend upon the size, nature and complexity of the app.

Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

We develop all apps in-house.

Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?

We believe in quality rather than the quantity of services. We have developed many apps in different categories using Agile SCRUM process and PMBOK best practices and each has their unique feature, size, scope and complexity, so that it's hard to me to give you any specific application which is the best for us.

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

As explained above we have a mix of expertise and we have developed apps as per the client requirement and preferences regarding technology, but in case of big and complex applications we always suggest Native technology to our client.

Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?

Android mobile apps Pros:

  • High market share about 80% globally
  • High ad revenue
  • Fast review in Google Play
  • Low cost to feature on Google Play
  • Easy publication
  • More beta testers, which allows every technology geek to try out the newest apps as it comes out

Cons:

  • More potential bugs
  • Multiple segments of devices
  • Longer to develop (and more expensive)

iOS mobile apps Pros:

  • High app revenue
  • Dedicated user base
  • Less lines of code
  • Low bugs ratio
  • Better developer tools

Cons:

  • Long review process
  • Small market share (Mostlly used by developed countries)

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

Both iOS and Android.

Which device is the best in the market right now?

Both iOS and Android, because both have a good footprint in their respective zones.

And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

Development of apps does not depend upon the device, it depends on the feature listing, size, scope and complexity of the particular app.
