Your last interview was published on December 2015. What great mobile apps has Exousia Tech been working on since then and what are your company’s biggest plans for next year?
We have been working on diverse categories of apps, from advance dating apps involving XMPP integration to Entertainment apps for offers and movies. We have worked on some advance utility tool apps as well. Exousia Tech’s biggest plans is to get into Video conferencian and calling apps of high complexities.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app you think is Exousia’s specialty?
One Category would be “Challenging Apps”. Apps which are not exactly clone of existing apps are always exciting to develop, we feel encouraged in solving real problems with new solutions which involve intense market research too.
Do you prefer to work with native language, hybrid or web?
We prefer to work on Native Apps on Android & iOS Platforms. We focus a lot on the User Experience and spend most time with the client discussing about UX and UI.
Which app has been the biggest challenge for Exousia Tech?
There were many biggest challenges since these 6 months. The primary reason was because the Project owners treated their apps to be like Business and not just like an app. That makes everything exciting, because in actual business you have to care about a lot of more things tan just development. The user interaction and retention become so much more important.
Last time we spoke, you said “Devices and Platforms will keep changing and evolving but in the near future I am excited to see devices that will use LiFi and will be totally interconnected”. A lot has happened since then. What would you answer now?
In fact, a lot has happened in the Lifi space since then. Companies like pureLifi have launched a variety of products using LED’s which are used in small offices to get internet speed 1000 times as we have with normal Wifi. I believe that Lifi is a space that would have tremendous growth in the next 2 years.
What do you think will be the biggest smartphone release in 2016 and why?
Google & Apple have set the stage high. We are more excited to see if Google launches its Project ARA, if it does that could change the market altogether. Besides that iPhone 7 release can be a big event.
Besides smartphones, what mobile device do you think is worth having first?
For 2016, VR have to offer a lot, and if we restrict to this year, we can see a lot of things happening in the Virtual Reality space. A lot of new apps for Vr can become huge.
What do you think mobile devices will be able to do in the future that they don’t do now?
Again if we restrict to 2016, I believe Video calls using Virtual Reality can be very much posible.
What smartphone feature could you not live without?
Synchronization. This is one feature we all live with these days, right from syncing your contacts on google to accessing your photos from anywhere.
Is Exousia adapting to the new technologies and devices coming along?
At Exousia we believe challenges keep us alive. We are working on projects for Virtual Reality, learning things quickly and we hope to launch some awesome apps in the coming months.
What advice would you give to anyone with an app idea who didn’t know how to get started?
As I have been mentioned earlier, I believe User Experience is what matters the most for your app success. The biggest advise would be for the owner to think of functionalities he would like to offer to the app users. If we are clear of the overall functionality and business prespective of the app, we can build a great Project.
