Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

We work on an offshore development model. All the projects / development are being monitored under able supervisión of our Solution Architects/ Project Managers which are our own employees, who work from our premises.

Delivery Champ: It is an online food delivery system for Dubai based client.

The app allow restaurants to manage their food deliveries. Restaurants can create order for food delivery at their customer’s place using mobile app. The nearest delivery boy will receive notification and will accept the order.

Features of the app include:

• Restaurants can generate order from the app
• The app lets restaurants manage account
• They can view reports & other functions from the app
• Check status & track orders
• View delivery orders analytics
• Receive push notification and SMS alerts
• Delivery boy can accept order, navigate customer location, view delivery route

Main challenges faced in this project were the Kiosk App, the Real Time Communication (For New Order and DB’s location), the Order Assignment & Queuing Logic, the Distance Calculation (Via GPS) and the Device Failure & Exception Handling

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

This depends upon the requirement and nature of the project. We recommend Native for apps that require high-end user experience and are more transactional in nature, We recommend Cross Platform for simpler apps.

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

iOS, as it’s on the path to a constant expansion within the next 5 years. Apple is going to continue with its mark way of bringing in invisible, subtle technology transitions.

iOS will continue to see changes behind the scene that will keep it fresh for developers and app store.

Which device is the best in the market right now?

Apple iPhone X. And the reason behind this is that this device is a complete package.

The iPhone X is also the first to get an OLED display and introduced the end of the iconic round home button on the front. Apple’s most innovative phone in the market till now is definitely the iPhone X.

And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

We have experts for both iOS and Android app development which puts us at ease while developing apps for both.. We are equally capable to develop an app on either of iOS/ Android.
