Let’s see what Sourav Sinha has to say about Brainium and the mobile app development world.
What does your mobile app development company do?
Web and mobile technologies are our key strengths and we provide end to end solutions to customers. We have separate in-house departments for Web Development, Web Design, Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing, Web Hosting which work together as a team to make the project successful. We treat every client’s project like our own and provide the best solution to improve their business.
What clients have you worked for?
We have worked with many start-ups and enterprises. To name a few: WorldOfBooks, Exponential Development Seminars, LiveEDIT LLC, Thomson Reuters, Genie Jobs, Red Label Vacations Inc., etc.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?
We have worked on multiple verticals and domains. We possess a strong skill set and knowledge across various platforms, languages, and technologies. However, if it’s required to choose one particular category, it would be utility and productivity apps. Being a leading mobile app development company, our team has developed exceptional utility and path-breaking mobile solutions in utility domain.
One of our key projects that we developed is IServiceCustomer, an innovative solution that allows users to post a service with a description and price from a large pool of talent within 30-mile radius. There is another one, Jawsalert. It is a worldwide community shark tagging mobile app that facilitates you to track sharks across the globe and spread worldwide awareness on sharks through interactive map and list.
What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?
We have a wide variety of clientele which includes startups, mid-sized organizations and big enterprises. However, our budget largely varies from 2,5K USD to 10K USD. Again, as I said, it all depends on the type of mobile app, technologies and complexity involved.
Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?
No. We don't outsource. All teams needed to develop a complete mobile app are in-house. We have separate departments for Web Design, Web Development, Mobile App Development, Digital Marketing, Web Hosting which work together to make the app project successful.
Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed?
IServiceCustomer
Jaws Alert
Shenanigans-The Social Game
Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?
We work on every platform. It depends on the client’s requirements or needs of the project.
Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?
There are Pros and Cons for both sides. Let’s take a look at a few of them:
Android Pros
Android Cons
iOS Pros
iOS Cons
Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?
In recent years, as the technology is changing, both platforms have shown an immense growth and have emerged extensively.
iOS is a highly interactive an engaging "software". I think it will be better if it is said as a "platform". Android is a more flexible platform which gives options to customize the OS and various hardware configurations and price options are available.
Which device is the best in the market right now?
Actually, highend Android devices have lots of sensors (especially Pixels) and as good as desktops and in fact they can be made to run Linux Os with some tweaking. Due to a huge amount of RAM and high processing powers with multiple core processors, the UI is also very fluid. Android has lower prices, lots of choices in terms of both hardware configuration and features. It can be tweaked and customized a lot using different apps. But then again, for business uses and security iOS is more preferred.
And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?
We are comfortable with all of them, I don’t see any inclination towards a specific device.
