Here’s what Abhinav Singh has to say about his mobile app development company Techugo and the mobile world:
What does your mobile app development company do?
Techugo, is one of the fastest growing mobile app and web development company. We are near to 130 people in around one year and have traversed almost all of the globe as our client base. Our missión aligns from supporting emerging businesses and entrepreneurs world-wide to facilitating corporates with mobile ready solutions helping them making their processes ultra smooth that pushes them enhance their numbers.
We are majorly involved in development of iOS and Android Mobile Applications in almost every domain like Health, Fitness, Sports, Travels, Ecom, Real Estate, Finance etc.
Apart from this, developing CRM Solutions and Analytic Dashboard has been the speciality in web domain for Techugo.
What clients have you worked for?
Techugo caters a rich client base that holds Government bodies, PSUs, corporates and entrepreneurs. Few majors from the list are:
We've also catered the needs of start-ups like Prozata, Bizzgram, CTCed, Carmadate etc.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?
Our team has experts of almost every domain, it is tough to point a particular segment. So far, it has been like whatever we have done has been the best and satisfactory for our clients and team has always succeeded meeting the objectives.
Being on the edge, we have found ourselves most competent while developing corporate solutions like Sales Management or Inventory Management and within consumer based solutions like IoT, Beacon or BLE devices integration.
What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?
Since our client base varies from multimillion dollar corporations to emerging startups, an average would not be a justified number.
Our project budget range for corporates has been around 50K to 100K USD.
On the other hand we are involved in development of start up projects worth 5K to 25K USD.
Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?
We have managed to gather a team of experts that is specialized in almost every domain. Developing everything in-house has always been our prime focus. Working with a dedicates in-house team for every requirement establishes a more exact sync that produces extraordinary results. We believe communication as the key to optimization of products and having complete team at one place enhances this to best.
I don’t think there are any cons to getting the work done by in-house team.
Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?
The app we have developed for a client which today is valued at over 100M USD and another mobile application wherein the client has collaborated with worlds largest metal band are the apps we are most proud of.
Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?
This is something that depends majorly on the project budget and the client’s preference, although the most recommended is native development.
Native Development allows enough space for nourishing a product, this allows the use of various functionalities of specific OS which are not achievable while developing cross platform. Moreover, there come certain restrictions/limitations while working on something hybrid that ultimately reduces user friendliness.
Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?
I believe this was a valid question a few years back if you were an iOS freak. Today both platforms are providing almost equal liberty of development, technology has enhanced with Google devices as well and ratio to Android and iOS users is almost getting equal.
Being bias to any specific platform in current scenario would not be justified.
Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?
I am afraid with the progress Android has marked over a period of time and Apple has been more of a nerd for the last few years.
Talking about user friendliness and making lives more easier, I believe Android would win the race. However, being an Apple follower I still hope that Apple has something heart winning in its pocket.
Which device is the best in the market right now?
DJi Mavic Pro Drone.
And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?
We are comfortable with all of them, I don’t see any inclination towards a specific device in myself nor in my Techugo's team.
