Tell us a little bit about your previous work:
I have been working in the digital solutions space for twenty years and after becoming the youngest head of business development for a tech Company, I decided to chart my own course in the tech space and founded Neuronimbus early on in my career.
What does your mobile app development company do?
Mobile app development is one of the key tech practices in Neuronimbus. We have developed mobile applications for some of best retail brands in the world and worked with startups alike. Our experience across multiple industry verticals gives us a very good grip on user expectations and creating design experiences that meet user expectations and that of the business. Our DNA of constant innovation gives us the ability to bring the best tech stacks to our app development projects. Our global app development experience gives us the expertise required to deliver mobile app projects that meet best of the breed performance and security expectations.
What clients have you worked for?
Some of the clients include Panasonic, Seven Eleven, CircleK, Nikon, KFC, to name a few.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?
Our speciality lies in our ability to understand the industry vertical and marry that with the experience of designing and developing mobile apps for a decade. We combine this specialisation and apply that to projects which range from B2C apps to B2B apps across multiple industries.
What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?
Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?
From UI and UX design to mobile app solution design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support, everything is done in-house. This gives us the ability to deliver projects and within time and Budget.
Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why?
We love all the work that we do, but in the recent past a couple of projects stand out because of the impact they have had on our client’s business and the users of those mobile apps.
First, is a eCommerce app which was developed for one of the biggest global brands in the consumer electronics industry. This Project created a first of its kind solution in the Company which created new revenue streams from the post-sales commerce segment and not effectively contributes to the company’s top line and bottom line. The brand’s customers love the app as that gives them a one stop solution to not only engage with the service team but also get curated new product recommendations, accessories for products they already own and purchase extended warranties and service packages, all through that one app.
Second, is a comprehensive and complex solution, made easy. It is a set of mobile apps developed for an electronic vehicle cab hailing service, there was a consumer facing app for booking and paying for the ride and there was a driver side app. It can be called the Uber of EVs and came with it’s unique set of challenges in terms of how the business was setup and very complicated requirements of GPS usage. On the other hand the UI and UX design had to ensure the quickest way to book a cab and for the driver to it had to be made super easy to pick up, accept and charge the riders. So it was a great challenge on tech and design front which we met successfully.
Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages? Why?
We have in-house capabilities to develop native, hybrid and web apps. Most of our work is around native and hybrid app development. The decision on which approach to take is based on client requirements, Project needs, features to be developed.
Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?
Android app development is more challenging as there are multiple flavours of the OS that are running at any given point in time. So the app needs to be optimised for more than one version of the Android operating system. The iOS app development has become comparatively more streamlined with the emergence of Swift as the development framework for iOS. On the flip side an Android app gives a business Access to a much bigger segment of their target users considering Android holds more than 80% of the market share in terms of usage.
Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?
It is our opinión and estimate a stronger evolution will happen on the Android side as there are OEMs that are constantly working on this open platform coming out with new hardware features and new flavours of the Android OS
Which device is the best in the market right now?
As an app development Company which makes a lot of consumer facing mobile apps. On the Android front we see OnePlus 9 pro as an excellent option, coupled with Google Pixel 4a and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. All these devices are top notch when it comes to design, performance and display quality. On the iOS front iphone 12 pro max is the best one yet (until 13 comes out)
And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for? Why?
We don't develop for devices, we develop for operating systems and platforms. So we try to be as device agnostic as possible.
