Your last interview was published on 2014. What great apps have you been working on since then and what are your biggest plans for next year?
In the last year we have developed 50 + applications for our clients. We are increasing our team strength so next year we can launch more than 100.
If you had to choose one category, what kind of app you think is Prismetric’s specialty?
Social Networking. We have worked on apps similar to Whatsapp, Wechat, Tinder so it is our speaciality. All our clients are happy with our final work.
Do you prefer to work with native language, hybrid or web?
Native. If an app is developed in native language then its performance will be awesome. It will be easy to scale too. For long term planning and future enhancement native is the best option. We can easily accommodate client’s request on new features.
Which app has been the biggest challenge for Prismetric?
We recently created VOIP (voice calling) based app for our client. We had never worked on VOIP feature previously but we successfully achieved it.
Last time we spoke, you said “I am one of the biggest fans of Apple ”. A lot has happened since then. What would you answer now?
Same, Apple ☺
What do you think will be the biggest smartphone release in 2016 and why?
Apple iPhone 7. I think that they have it already planned and it is under development but they can not release any official information now.
Besides smartphones, what mobile device do you think is worth having first?
Simple Qwerty based Samsung phones.
What do you think mobile devices will be able to do in the future that they don’t do now?
If technology keeps improving like this, the future day is not far. In the future, if you want you won’t have to go anywhere out of your house or the office to do anyting or any work.
What smartphone feature could you not live without?
Email, Calendar, To Do
Is Prismetric adapting to the new technologies and devices coming along?
Yes, we always adapt new devices and technologies. Apple recently launched 6s and 6s plus so we already bought those devices for testing the apps. Also, Apple has its own Swift language which we have alrady adapted.
What advice would you give to anyone with an app idea who didn’t know how to get started?
It is always good to talk with a technical person who explains the process in detail. For more information we have created an eBook which can be downloaded here.
