Natalia Lekomtseva is Marketing Manager at Omega-R. The company, founded in 2011 by Alexey Rybakov has its headquarters based in New York, with two branch offices in Moscow and Yoshkar-Ola, Russia. Natalie joined the company in 2012 after being a Marketing Manager in a computer game development company. Here's what she had to say about the company and the mobile world:

What do you do?

Omega-R is a top mobile app development company. We develop digital solutions with a focus on mobile app solutions, UX design and responsive web. We create all kind of mobile applications (enterprise, e-commerce, game, educational, and even utility) both for iPhone, iPad, and Android handsets and tablets.

Which would you say are the best apps you have developed and why?

During the last year we have developed several apps that are very popular among users today.

We have a fantastic story of success with the Android version of the game Motor World Car Factory which we built for our Client. The number of downloads has reached 3 million so far.

Learn English for Beginners is an educational app developed by our team for another Client, has the installed base of 500,000 and counting.

We are very proud of such apps as Flyplist and Inventory Bar due to their top notch design.

Another app worth mentioning is Live Colors for Kids. This app is not made as work-for-hire, this is purely our inner project. Live colors is now gaining popularity among kids and their parents. We are now preparing to release the update very soon, and do hope it will reach the top of the app store in its category.

Which apps would you have loved to develop and why?

We will definitely continue developing and improving our app Live Colors for Kids. Educational apps are our common passion in the team as many of us have children. This app shows good results and we are working hard to turn it into a real hit.

To speak of apps by other developers, I personally am a fan of Drawing with Carl, and apps for kids.

Another app we absolutely love is a Monument Valley. It has brilliant design and the idea itself is great.

Which are the 5 apps you use the most on a daily basis?

Frankly speaking I can use my phone for all my needs, even for work, so I need different apps to be installed. I mostly use educational apps, news applications, mailing systems, apps developed for sports and sometimes I play games.

Which mobile device is the best in the market right now?

Referring to the modern market we can say that the most popular device is the apple iPhone 5s. Now that the iPhone 6 is available, it is curious to see how the situation will be changing.

What kind of device/platform will be the next big thing?

As it is said ‘iPhone is always in trend’. On the other hand recent researches show us a stable growth of the Android popularity. During the last year this OS slowly improves its position. So I can say that the most part of the mobile market still will be divided between Apple and Android.
