Top app development companies interview: Nettechnocrats IT Services

A warm welcome to Sanjeev Sharma, business head of Nettechnocrats IT Services, a company founded in 2012 by Sanjeev and Dev Bhushan Singh. Nettechnocrats has over 150 employees and it’s located in Noida. Let’s see what Sanjeev Sharma had to say about his company and the mobile app development sector.

What does your mobile app development company do?

We develop iPhone apps, Android apps, iOS & iPad apps, IoT based apps, chatbots, web apps, hybrid apps, cross-platform apps, beacon apps etc.We develop highly scalable & secure robust mobile applications for all startups/small/medium-sized companies in order to archive their needs.

What clients have you worked for?

We’ve worked for many clients across the globe including Coca Cola, BJP NRI, Lexus, Bubble, Zangi, Chemistworld, Slimbrowser, preapps, Asbuilt and many more.

If you had to choose one category, what kind of app do you think is your mobile app development company’s specialty?

If we had to choose one category then I’d choose IoT-based apps because most business owners are switching to IoT-based solutions. We are in the age of technologies where portable devices are incredibly relevant, so it is very important to connect everything in order to exchange information, thus creating a network of physical objects. In recent years, this concept has gained enormous momentum and it’s now one of the most talked about trends in the technology world. At this rapid growth rate, it is projected that there will be approximately 26 billion connected devices by 2020.

What is the average budget of the mobile apps you develop?

Our pricing for developing mobile apps starts from USD 3,000, depending on the client’s requirements. However, it depends on the client.

Do you develop all mobile apps in-house or do you outsource some parts of the process?

We do not outsource projects. Instead, we have a complete team of highly experienced developers (including graphic designers) who are responsible for the complete development process, from designing to publishing the apps on the App Stores.

Which would you say are the best mobile apps that your company has developed and why

I am glad to share the links of some of our most successful projects that have been designed and deployed by Nettechnocrats.

Do you prefer to build mobile apps with native, hybrid or web languages?

I prefer native languages because of the following key reasons:

  1. Best Security
  2. Best in user experience
  3. Best performance
  4. Offline mode
  5. Highly customization available

Let’s focus on iOS and Android mobile app development. Which are the Pros and Cons of each platform?

Android Pros

  • It’s full open source with ability to access the internal hardware from 3rd party devices
  • Wider install base - you have a broader population of people with Androids in Asia, Africa and other countries
  • It’s quite easy to create development environment (using existing PCs and Eclipse, i.e. not specialised hardware)
  • No restrictions with functionality on what you develop, so it’s open to new ideas
  • Apart from the Google Play Store, there are many 3rd party stores where you can publish the apps, like 99apps, Preapps, and Mistore.
  • More advertising options and the possibility to generate a higher ad revenue
  • Faster reviews on Google Play
  • Cheaper to feature on Google Play
  • More beta testers

Android Cons

  • Less secure
  • High risk of data leakage
  • More potential bugs
  • Takes longer to develop (and it’s more expensive)
  • No testing from Play Store

iOS Pros

  • iOS products are premium, therefore, potentially, a more lucrative set of people to sell to
  • Easier to develop when it comes to UI standardisation
  • High security by 2-tier app testing
  • Firmer / fewer bugs
  • Better developer tools

iOS Cons

  • Longer review process
  • Harder to publish anything on the Apple Store (need to match iOS standards)
  • Smaller market share
  • Costly
  • Need hardware devices to start programming (Mac is mandatory)

Which one will evolve more within the next 5 years?

I believe that within the next 5 years, Internet Of Things, AI and AR/VR will rule the world. Everything can now be made intelligent by combining sensor technology with machine learning.

Which device is the best in the market right now?

In my opinion, the latest version of the iPhone, iPhone X.

And which device do you feel more comfortable developing an app for?

We are comfortable developing Android and iPhone/iPad devices using native and hybrid technology because we have an in-house team of developers with tons of expertise.
